puppy/derby Dog
As you move from Derby stakes to Adult stakes the breaking process can be hard on you and your dog. Here at Burchett Bird Dogs it doesn’t have to be. Each summer we train trial and hunting dogs to stay steady to wing and shot as they prgress to the next chapter in trials and hunting.
Hunting Dog
If you are looking to sharpen the skills on your hunting dog prior to the fall season, we can help you. Each summer we train hunting dogs on hundreds of quail to ensure they are ready for the upcoming season. We will make sure to cater to your needs if that means becoming steady to wing and shot or for a quick tune up.
Trial Dog
Come June of each year we start to receive our field trials dogs for the upcoming trial year. At this time we will begin training and conditioning to ensure they are ready for the Fall and Spring field trial seasons. These dogs will be worked on hundreds of quail at our local training grounds as they prepare for the trial circuit.
